Here we go!

This window has been open for three days waiting for me to type something. Somehow I can't seem to make the leap. It isn't as if this is earth shattering for me to put something into words, but where do you start? How can a person begin to share themselves?

Well, here I go. I'm a mom, I have four great kids. They came very fast and what they brought with them was often unexpected. But I love them more than I could imagine. Sometimes I have to hide the smirk just so they will take me seriously.

I have lived all over the United States (or at least it feels that way to me.) I love everywhere I have lived. The people I have met and the experiences I have had there influenced who I am.

Three years ago, an experience altered who I am and how I look at things, but it didn't change me through and through. Maybe it just spun me around and shook me up a little bit. But I do look at things a little differently.

So now I am writing this blog. Partly to keep the journal I am so bad at. Partly to keep in touch with those I love that live elsewhere. And mostly to share with others the things that make me smile, but no one else seems to see.
