Good day, sunshine.

We have a lake by our house, its man-made, but I love it. This morning I got up and went for a run/walk around the lake. The sun was just rising over the mountains, the swallows were poking their heads out of their nests, and a black heron flew under the bridge as I was walking over it.

I'm home now and everyone is still asleep. In a few moments I have to wake them up for school (year-round), but for now it is quiet and peaceful. I opened all the windows and the breeze is blowing through. Such a good morning.

How do you like year round school? Is it weird after being raised with a traditional schedule? How much time do they get off in the summer? Sorry for all the questions. I'm just curious. We pretty much practice year round school as homeschoolers because I want my kids to think of education as a continual process that never ends or takes long breaks. The same goes for fun.
