If you like to crochet, then I have an easy project idea. I'm almost embarrassed to post it, you can't even call it a tutorial.

First, you start by crocheting a flower. Any flower will do, but I used
this one. Next chain 45 for a baby, 55 for a little girl, and 60 for an older girl. You might want to check it against the wearer's head as you go. Crochet stretches, so make it a little short.

Then slip stitch through the back of the flower, exactly opposite the beginning of the chain. You may want to make sure that your chain isn't twisted, but even if it is it will still be cute. I slip stitch twice just to make sure it is secure.

Fasten off and weave in ends, making sure to go through both the flower and the chain.

And there you have it. Cute for big and little girls. I used the same technique, just making it longer, to make myself a necklace.
