Hidden Surprises

Trimming back the dead foliage and raking up the leaves in my perennial beds, I was excited to find some first signs of Spring.
And a few hidden friends.

Then those little birdies made me wonder about my little birdies,

and what they were up to.

Which led to a bit of this...

And that.

I'll tackle the drip line another day, when swings aren't the priority. Another reason I love Spring.
