Don't Judge Me

I needed the kids to play outside. I needed them to have shade. I needed them to have something new that would make them desire to be outside. So feeling a bit inspired and deciding that we could have Family Home Morning instead of Evening, we started on our project. However, we don't have mature trees in our yard. And we have a lot of wind.

But we were undaunted, even through an injury.
The wind tore the grommets out twice. But, we got a canopy of sorts, with a couple breezy walls for coziness.
Just in time for a picnic.
And yes, that is a crib mattress in there. (See, you're judging me. I promise it was extra. I didn't steal it from Jack or Maisy.)
