Sibling Rivalry

I wanted to get a picture of Maisy in this dress. I originally made this dress for Sadie when we lived in Charleston. When I put it on Maisy for school last Wednesday, I realized it may not fit much longer and she is the last of my three girls to wear it. I'll be sad to see it retired.











Well, Maisy did not want her picture taken and took a little convincing. Meanwhile, Jack, concerned by his sister crying, came to get in on the action. He gave her a hug to make her feel better. Which only made things worse.











Then she started to cry about the hug. Which baffled him, because I think he genuinely wanted to make her feel better.








He wasn't really sure what to do, so he just kind of stood there with his little hand on her. I love his sweet little expression. He seems so confused by her tears.









I hope these two figure out how to get along. Jack loves his sister so much, he just shows it in ways that make her MAD.
