Fall Wonders

I have a couple of little things I have been enjoying out my kitchen window as the weather turns cooler.

The first is a family of doves that have come to live in our backyard. This little bevy is a bit camera shy, but they are mourning doves and I love watching them congregate in our yard.
The second is my favorite flower, cosmos. I have planted a variety of cosmos in the yard and every year, in late summer, they come back. This year I have these beautiful candy strip cosmos, as well as Gloria cosmos and yellow cosmos. Cosmos are self-seeding annuals and they make me happy.

It makes washing dishes just a bit easier.
