Two Hours

I came home today from dropping off Jack at his first day of preschool to total silence. I think that may be the quietest I have ever heard this house. Jack showed no fear about preschool.
He awoke this morning ready to go. He had opinions about everything he wore, his clothes, his hair, and apparently Dad's aftershave. He was ready two hours early.
We rode to school, he jumped out, and disappeared. I had to chase him to get a picture. And then I came back home to two hours of total quiet. I kind of missed the noise.

Hello Somer this is your cousin Kalista! How are you doing? Akasha told me Haley has a blog, and from her blog I found yours. You have a beautiful family!! I can't believe I've never met any of your kids and now your youngest is already starting preschool! Also I want to compliment you on your sewing skills! You are so talented. I have a sewing machine but barely know how to use it. Anyway I hope you are doing well and i hope you don't mind if I start following your blog. :)

Too cute!! Doesn't it make it easier that he's so excited to go though? I remember those nights before school, picking out which outfit to wear and waking up super early just to put it on....What a cute little guy!!

Aftershave, huh, that's funny. I love it when they're so excited for things. I think that excitement, for anything, wears off as we get older, durn it. :) and Yay for a couple hours of quiet.
