While looking on Craigslist for a desk I asked Evan when "vintage" came to mean dirty and ugly. The girls asked him what vintage really meant and he explained.
A little later Ella was in the kitchen and called out, "Mom, this floor is really vintage." My clever girl, that's why we call her sassy pants.
