Port San Luis Pier

September 24th
Avila Beach is the coastal town just outside of San Luis Obispo, and just north on the coastline is Port San Luis. They have this wonderful pier that juts out into the water, wide enough to drive on and have a restaurant or two. But still crickety enough to sound and feel like an old boardwalk.
There were barking seals camped out underneath as well as swimming all around.
Sadie was terrified that someone was going to fall in the water and panicked at the slightest lean over the side.

The fog was just starting to burn off and created a moody, mysterious effect. We got some swordfish tacos and shrimp cocktail, but missed getting some crab to take home. Maybe next year.
