Jack and Maisy were enjoying the warm Autumn evening with some after dinner playing in their jammies when, Jack came in from outside yelling, "Maiye dee power."
I looked at him and said, "What?"
Slower: "M A I Y E D E E P O W E R."
Okay, I get Maisy and flower, but dee?
Again, "Maiye dee power." Only this time he is signing eat as he says it.
So he and I hurry outside to find, sure enough, Maisy is eating flowers. Not really the flowers, but the seeds in the sunflower heads.

Once she saw that I had the camera and was smiling, she came over to see me.

And climb up for a hug.

She is getting stronger in her legs, and now that we have her new leg braces, my back and I are hoping she will be walking soon.

She does have to focus when she walks, though, so if you see her on the side walk in her walker, don't get too excited because if she starts to giggle, she forgets to stand.

So cute! And I know all about the losing focus. When Aubrey first started crawling we would sit completely silent while we watched so she wouldn't get distracted and quit. I hope to see her walking soon!
Sorry we missed you at the party last night, the kids costumes look beautiful!
Guy is laughing and enjoying these pictures of Maisy right now!
