I made the wings for Sadie's costume. They turned out quite well. Sadie loves them. Now I have to figure out how to keep them upright, they are a little top heavy. I am very pleased though, they are just right for an Autumn Fairy. My friend, Angela showed me how to make them, but you can use this if you'd like. I used two elastic headbands (they came in a nice light brown color) instead of elastic by the yard.

Wings
I made the wings for Sadie's costume. They turned out quite well. Sadie loves them. Now I have to figure out how to keep them upright, they are a little top heavy. somer! those turned out beautiful!! sadie is going to have the best costume. now i am jealous and want my own set of fairy wings.
Oh! Cool!!! If you only knew what a Fairy nut I am.... She's gonna look BEAUTIFUL!!!!
By the way.....did you use the same kind if wire? Maybe just bent it different?
I did. I used 14-gauge wire, but I shped it according to the image that Sadie had in her head.
