Going to see the lights
My parents have a tradition of leftovers and lights. So the day after Thanksgiving, into the car went a pile of hats, mittens, scarves, coats, legwarmers, and boots, along with four little kids, one stroller and a wheelchair and we were off to Grandma and Grandpa's house.
We bundled up and walked downtown to see the Christmas lights.
They were beautiful and so were the smiles. Sometimes, when you have kids, you can brave a few crowds for the sake of a little magic.
