Handmade Holidays

There are a few movements out there that I love the concept of, but when it comes to a full commitment, I'm just not ready. The Handmade Movement is something I feel good about, but haven't been able to fully commit. Then there's The Toy Society, how great is that, what a treat to find a toy. I just love the idea of handmade toys, especially in a time when plastic and recalls haunt this momma's nights. I also love the opportunity for my kids to be involved in the process of making gifts. There are so many free resources out there, like this and this. So this Christmas I am working towards a mostly Handmade Christmas. How about if I share some of my ideas with you and then maybe you can make some things for the people you love? Sound good?
